Jennifer Detrano, M.B.A.

Chief Financial Officer, EPMA

Jennifer has spent the past 15 years in the financial industry, working primarily in the brokerage industry at 4 of the largest houses. Her most recent position was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley where she focused on Treasury accounting, products, and operations, and managing a staff of 14.

Jennifer has a diverse accounting background that includes FASB 52 foreign exchange hedging, FASB 133 and long haul hedge accounting, profit and loss generation for several trading desks, month end and year end close, as well as SEC reporting. She has a BBA in Public Accounting and an MBA from Pace University. Currently, Jennifer is looking for the next big step in her accounting career.

She joined EPMA earlier this year in order to connect with working moms in Westchester. She was invited to join the board of directors as the Treasurer, and will attempt to locate funding for the organization and its goals. As the CFO for the organization, she is working hard to ensure that the organization is set up properly to be in line with GAAP, as well as looking into several IT operational solutions for the group.

Jennifer has a husband and five year old daughter, Toria. They enjoy traveling together, as well as going to their beach house each summer for some rest and relaxation. Jennifer has recently become very excited about gardening in her yard, and can’t wait for her grape vine to ripen.
